This was the best experience! Our travel guide Dan was the real deal. He was so knowledgeable about not only the history of all the castles, but also the history of Romanian life under communism. He was personable and even serenaded us. 🥰 We made a friend for life and recommend this trip to anyone. Dan might do hundreds of these tours but I feel like he won’t forget us and we won’t ever forget him and this experience.

Parcours très agréable, en grande partie en forêt, on profite pleinement de la nature et de la quiétude de l'endroit et du site (plutôt à faire assez tôt le matin, beaucoup moins de monde je pense et bonne température) la fin du parcours est assez pentue !

This was an excellent experience with a helpful and courteous guide. We saw bears 3 times across 2 hours in the hide. Would recommend.

This tour was a great addition to my trip to Brasov. I went on this tour as a solo traveler and my tour guide (Tibi) was great company and always ready to answer my questions. He's been doing this tour for a while and knows a lot of the locals in the areas that are visited on the tour so I had the opportunity for spending with them, trying their delicious bread, and getting a tour of the church.

I would like to share the great experience that we had with our guide Tiberiu (Tibi) from Active Travel. My daughter and I have come to a short visit to Romania, and booked a day trip at Active Travel.Tibi came to take us from our hotel and guided us through a fascinating trip that included hiking in beautiful landscapes and visiting villages, villagers and unique scenes that only the locals are familiar with.We warmly recommend Tibi and the trips that he guides.Michal

This tour was excellent and Charlie our guide was fab! We loved Bran castle and hearing about the history, myths and legends surrounding it. Rasov fortress was also really interesting. This tour is great, it’s just the right length to give you plenty of information but not to overwhelm you and Charlie really was a brilliant guide. Would definitely recommend!

Our Tour Guide Dan was quite relaxed, was willing to stop shortly at other interesting places and had a lot of knowledge about the area. Especially, Peles castle was amazing.

Dan was very knowledgeable about the three castles and a great guide! Peles castle was stunning and the dark past behind Bran castle was just as interesting. Overall a great day with an excellent guide!

Today we went on the Pele Palace, Fortress, and Bran’s Castle (Dracula’s Castle) tour. It was a great tour and our guide Tudor was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and made the trip so much fun! We really enjoyed every stop and lunch. It was a great tour and I highly recommend it! I would definitely go on more tours with Active Travel and Tudor in the future.

We visited all 3 castles starting with Peles in the morning, then Bran and to finish Rasnov. The best part of this tour was our guide Karoly [Charlie] who is simply amazing. He drove very safely, was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing and very flexible on the timing. Overall this tour was an awesome one and definitely exceeded our expectations !
