I highly recommend for those who want to taste “mother like” specialities. Even if the number of the available dishes is not unlimited, this is a sign that the restaurant has fresh food. Other ++ for the the friendly staff.

Délicieux plats bien préparés et bien présentés.Les petits foies de poulet aux champignons en sauce et avec de la purée (ficatei cu ciuperci) sont particulièrement bons.En dessert le tort krantz (gateau au chocolat et miel avec des noisettes) est à recommander.Le service est rapide, aimable et attentionné.Au final : restaurant à ne pas manquer à Bucarest.

It has everything one can wish for: good traditional food and wines, reasonable prices, nice staff, beautiful authentic design, live music and it's clean! And you can also find rooms where the smoke is bearable! The house in itself is also worth seeing as an example of typical Bucharest architecture.
