Liked · Everything was perfect :) Great location with peace and quiet. The house is like a live museum full of tradition. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was very rich. It is a perfect place both for short and long stays.

Liked · This is a special place, worth making a detour to visit. Hosts are very nice and can tell many interesting stories. Staying above the dance house museum is something you can't do each day. Food was exceptional. We stayed in a 4 bed room, was quite nice.They also have a natural salt water lake, was free for us as guests. Quite nice to swim at the end of a hot day.

Liked · Amazing accommodation for anyone looking into an authentic experience. The owner is super friendly and passionate about the local culture which he loves sharing with his guests. Ne comptez pas vous arrêter au Csipkeszeg Bed & Breakfast juste pour y passer la nuit. En effet, vous allez y faire la connaissance de Michel, un hollandais immigré passionné de danse folklorique, et de ce lieu chargé d'histoire dont les destins semblaient liés. Vous allez également y découvrir une extraordinaire collection d'objets qui fait de ce lieu, plus qu'un simple gîte, un véritable musée ethnographique. Bref, une étape enrichissante aussi bien humainement que culturellement.

Clean, neat rooms, very warm welcome by Mihály and Erzsike, generous introduction in Hungarian folk culture, traditions, dances - one can feel that the hosts are passionate about Szék. Much recommended!

Had a wonderful stay again in the Csipkeszeg B&B with the wonderful hosts Mihaly and Erzsike. The quality / price ratio is better than anywhere else I have been. Also ask Mihaly for a (free) tour if the dance house museum. If you are near Cluj Napoca (Kolozsvar), make a side trip to Sic (Szek). Go via Gherly, a much better road and faster than via Juc de Sus.
