In the end, it was not difficult to find it with the help of Google maps. Clean and organized monastery. It is more a pilgrimage than a monastery. There you see people who are truly faithful and people who have many problems to testify to the saints. There are remains of St. Nectarius and Osio Efraim.

After 41 years I visited Bucharest. I am so sorry that I didn’t know that this beautiful monastery was there. It’s a historic monument of great beauty.

This monastery is a real gem with its own grounds in the heart of the city.The wall paintings inside & out are stunning & must be seen to be believed.Nearby is the oldest church in Bucharest: Bucur Church. You have to climb some steps to access it but it is worth it.

The actual church of Radu Voda Monastery was consecrated between 1568 - 1577, and it was founded by the ruler Alexandru 2nd Mircea.The monastery is situated in Bucharest, near Piata Unirii (Unirea Square), and it's inhabited by monks, even today.The monastery is historical monument, it's interesting to visit, in order to know a part of Romanian history.I think, this monument is a "must see" place for the tourists who arrived in Bucharest.

Il Monastero Radu Voda non è grandissimo ma si trova in una zona al quanto tranquilla. La sua particolarità oltre alla bellezza esterna, sono i colori accesi che donano vitalità al suo interno. Già l'atrio è fantastico ma l'interno merita davvero di essere visitato.

Radu Voda Monastery have a history of more than 4 centuries, being an old and beautifully architectural monastery. The interior is spacious and the walls are very nice painted with floral motifs. The bad thing about this place is that at the entrance across the street from the Bucur Ciobanul Church, there are many beggars.
