I just stayed for one night, but the staff was immensely supportive for me to make my trip easy and memorable. They were willing to help me with every possible way they can. Very flexible with all the needs even I am having tens of different needs. Very kind. Amazing Breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

This hostel is small and the staff is extremely friendly! It doesn't feel like a hostel, it feels like a home. The breakfast is included and comes with eggs, bacon, salami, yogurt, bread, butter, jam, cereal, etc. A perfect start to a full day of exploring Sibiu and other nearby towns.

Stayed here four nights.Left to visit another hostel and returned (they had filled here).Staff speaks great English and is super friendly.Free breakfast every morning: eggs, bacon, salami, cereal, coffee, yogurt.18 beds total? 2 full bathrooms.Centrally located in stairway passage in walking distance of train and bus and everything.Around $10 a night.Did three loads of laundry here for $3 apiece also I believe.Highly recommend and would return.

A hidden gem in the historical centre of Sibiu. The location is very quiet. The hostel is clean, well-managed and run by good employees. The receptionist, Iulia, was kind and a good chit-chatter. So, in the end, be smart, make a smart choice and choose Smart Hostel.

This is a wonderful hostel! There is such a friendly atmosphere, I mean people very quiet that is not intrusive and easy-going :) Most of the staff is from workaway, they are absolutely competent and glad to help you always and you become immediately friend of them. Everything is clean, beds are very comfortable and sheet smell good! The position is perfect, in the center! There is also a guitar if you wanna play and this is absolutely fantastic.

The hostel is on great and yet very quiet location. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Everything is on walking distance. The bed is very comfy and spacey. Breakfast was included in the price.

If you're looking for a great place to stay, look no further. Even though the place identifies as a hostel, the services and overall aspect exceed the expectations. The location (in the heart of the city) is perfect for the traveler who is keen to discover the city in its entirety: the historical center and the nightlife. In this case, Diesel philosophy doesn't apply: Be smart. Choose smart :)

Great location, furnished with a wood-burner and the whole show is run by Alex! A winning combination - if you are in Sibiu, why go anywhere else!I have been to many top hostels, but this was the most top.

I felt right at home here. Compact, cosy hostel with great beds, a solid breakfast, and very fast wifi. I thought the style of the hostel made it easy to talk to the other guests, and the staff went out of their way to give me a hand.
